Solid Color Deck Stains

Bring life, restoration and longevity back to your deck with solid-color deck stains.

When choosing your stain for your deck or other outdoor wood, Quality Home Painting has been producing longevity and wood restoration for homeowners using solid color stains versus the standard transparent or semi-transparent types. Certainly, including the beauty of the wood grain shining through in transparent types are attractive and desirable, however as a home owner you must think both beauty, as well as function and a solid color stain provides the correct balance of both.

The solid color stains that we use are apart of the SuperDeck by Sherwin-Williams brand and feature an IR Reflective technology that contains pigments that reflect the solar rays instead of absorbing them, protecting both the finish as well as the wood below. This helps increase the longevity of your stain and the overall health of your deck.

The solid color stains also help to restore sun-drowned wood and deteriorating wood by seeping into all the cracks and crevices to create a protective barrier. You will be amazed how new and healthy your wood deck will look after an application!

Quality Home Painting also uses transparent and semi-transparent deck stains, however we are excited by the last couple of projects and results we received with solid colors! Check out our Gallery of work for more examples.

Painting brick is a new trend for modern homes in the south. Although natural brick colors are certainly still appealing, those looking to update an existing house into a modern, clean style may consider painting their existing brick. Whites, light grey and browns are typical color choices.
